Rope mammut 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope
Dynamic half rope with aramid sheath
The Mammut Core Protect is a revolutionary rope featuring an ultra-durable sheath woven with a layer of high-strength aramid fibers. In the event of a fall, the aramid sheath stretches due to its specialized construction, maintaining the elasticity required for dynamic climbing rope standards. This ensures that handling and abrasion resistance remain consistent while significantly increasing cut resistance over sharp edges.
Certified for use as a half or twin rope, it is perfectly suited for ice and mixed climbing, multi-pitch rock climbing, alpine climbing, and as a glacier rope.
Dry water-repellent treatment.
