TERMS OF SERVICE

This Distance Sales Agreement is concluded between SIA "VESSPO", registration number 40003219618, VAT number LV40003219618, legal address: Brīvības iela 155 k-4, Rīga, LV-1012, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the Seller) and an individual or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer) who places an order and purchases goods from the online store Veikals Ceļotājs available at veikalscelotajs.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Website).

1. CONTRACT SUBJECT

1.1. The Buyer orders, purchases, and pays for, while the Seller supplies and sells, the goods offered on the Website in accordance with the terms of this Distance Sales Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement).
1.2. The Agreement applies to all orders and purchases made on the Website.

2. REGISTRATION

2.1. The Buyer is not required to create a personal account to purchase goods on the Website.

3. ORDERING PROCESS

3.1. The Buyer selects goods, reviews their descriptions, characteristics, and pricing, and assesses their suitability.
3.2. To confirm the order, the Buyer must provide:

  • Accurate personal information (full name, contact phone number, email address);
  • Chosen delivery method and address (if required by the selected delivery option);
  • Chosen payment method;
  • Additional comments (if any).

3.3. The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate order details. The Seller is not liable for any losses incurred due to incorrect delivery details provided by the Buyer.
3.4. Upon receiving an order, the Seller sends an order confirmation via email. If no confirmation email is received, the order is not considered accepted, and the Agreement has not come into effect.
3.5. By confirming the Agreement and purchasing products subject to legal restrictions, the Buyer affirms they are at least 18 years old.

4. EFFECTIVENESS OF THE AGREEMENT

4.1. The Agreement becomes effective once the Buyer has placed an order on the Website and has received order confirmation e-mail from the Seller from it's official e-mail address: celotajs@veikalscelotajs.lv

5. PRICING AND DELIVERY COSTS

5.1. Product prices on the Website are listed in EUR, including VAT at the applicable rate in Latvia. The Buyer purchases the product at the price listed at the time of order placement.
5.2. Delivery costs are not included in the product price. Delivery charges are applied separately based on the Buyer’s selected delivery method. These costs are displayed before order confirmation and included in the invoice. If the goods are oversized or ordered outside Latvia, the delivery cost may be adjusted during order processing, and an updated invoice may be issued.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

6.1. The Buyer must pay for the product and chosen delivery method as specified in the Agreement.
6.2. Payment is considered completed once the Seller has received the full amount for the order.
6.3. If the Seller is required to refund the Buyer, the refund will be processed using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.

7. DELIVERY

7.1. The Buyer can select any delivery option available on the Website.
7.2. Delivery charges may vary based on service provider rates.
7.3. Standard domestic delivery time within Latvia is 2 to 4 business days, standard international delivery time is 5-10 days but this may change depending on stock availability and demand. The Seller reserves the right to deliver the goods within 30 calendar days from order confirmation unless otherwise agreed. If the ordered goods are out of stock, the Buyer may cancel the order and receive a full refund within 14 business days.
7.4. Goods are delivered within Latvia or other territories specified by the Seller.
7.5. Orders are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer. If the delivery is received by another person at the provided address, the order is deemed delivered.
7.6. If delivery is unsuccessful due to the Buyer’s fault (e.g., incorrect address or failure to accept the package), the Seller may cancel the order and refund the Buyer minus delivery costs.
7.7. Upon receiving the package, the Buyer must inspect the goods. Any visible damage must be reported immediately to the courier and documented.

8. PRODUCT CLAIMS

8.1. The Buyer must check the goods upon delivery for conformity with the order.
8.2. If the goods do not match the order, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing within 14 days of receipt. The Seller will review the claim within 5 business days and offer a resolution.

9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

9.1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from this Agreement within 14 days without providing a reason. The withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the Seller.
9.2. The Buyer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal request. The Buyer bears all return shipping costs.
9.3. The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

  • The goods have been used;
  • The goods cannot be returned due to their nature or are perishable;
  • The goods were custom-made for the Buyer;
  • The Buyer has opened the packaging of audio/video recordings or software.

9.4. The Buyer is responsible for maintaining the goods' quality and safety during the withdrawal period.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1. Disputes between the Buyer and Seller should first be resolved through negotiations.
10.2. If no resolution is reached, the Buyer may submit a written complaint to the Seller at celotajs@veikalscelotajs.lv. The Seller will respond within 15 business days.
10.3. If the dispute remains unresolved, the Buyer may seek resolution through the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (PTAC) or initiate legal proceedings.

11. DATA PROCESSING

11.1. By placing an order, the Buyer agrees to the processing of their personal data for order fulfillment. The Seller processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the Website.

12. LIABILITY

12.1. The Seller is not liable for damages resulting from the Buyer’s non-compliance with the Agreement.
12.2. The Seller is not responsible for delays or failures caused by force majeure circumstances beyond its control.

13. FINAL PROVISIONS

13.1. The Agreement is governed by Latvian law. Any matters not covered herein shall be resolved in accordance with applicable legislation.
13.2. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
