Shipping & Return Policy
1. Order Fulfillment & Processing
1.1. Orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) on business days are processed within 1-3 hours. Orders placed after this time will be processed on the next business day.
1.2. Order processing time does not include delivery time.
1.3. Order pickup and delivery times may be affected by public holidays, ongoing sales and peak shopping periods.
2. Pickup Options (Free of Charge)
2.1. Customers may pick up their orders for free at the following locations:
- Ceļotājs Store – Brīvības 155-4, Rīga, Latvia.
- Urban Outdoor Store – K. Barona 7/9, Rīga, Latvia.
- Ceļotājs: Mon 11:00-19:00, Tue-Fri 10:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-17:00.
- Urban Outdoor: Mon-Fri 10:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-17:00. 2.3.
Store opening hours may vary on public holidays. Before coming to pickup, please check shop opening times on our website.
3. Domestic Shipping (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia)
3.1. Delivery is available via SmartPost (Itella), Omniva, and courier services.
3.2. Estimated delivery times:
- Parcel lockers (SmartPost (Itella), Omniva): 1-3 business days.
- Courier delivery (SmartPost (Itella), Omniva): 1-2 business days in Rīga, 2-5 business days outside Rīga.
3.3. Large or oversized items exceeding parcel locker size limits can only be delivered by courier.
3.4. Shipping rates:
- Parcel lockers: Free for orders from €30, otherwise €1.99 - €4.99.
- Courier delivery: Free for orders from €500, otherwise €9.99 - €12.99.
3.5. During peak shopping periods (Christmas, New Year), delivery delays may occur beyond the Seller’s control.
4. International Shipping
4.1. International shipping is available to select countries.
4.2. International shipping costs depend on destination, parcel weight, and size, and are calculated at checkout.
4.3. Estimated international shipping times:
- Standard delivery: 5-10 business days (varies by country and courier service).
- Express delivery (where available): 2-5 business days.
4.4. Customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the Buyer.
4.5. The Seller is not responsible for customs delays or additional import costs imposed by destination countries.
5. Order Tracking
5.1. Once the order is dispatched, the Buyer will receive a tracking number via email.
5.2. Buyers may track their shipment through the respective carrier’s tracking page:
- SmartPost Itella
- Omniva
- Courier services: Check the tracking link provided in the shipping confirmation.
6. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
6.1. If an order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, the Buyer should contact the Seller at celotajs@veikalscelotajs.lv.
6.2. If an order is lost or arrives damaged, the Buyer must report the issue within 5 business days of receiving the shipment.
6.3. The Seller will assist in resolving claims with the carrier, but refunds or replacements will be issued only after the carrier confirms liability.
6.4. If a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier but the Buyer has not received it, the Buyer must check with neighbors or local pickup points before contacting the Seller.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
7.1. Orders may be canceled or modified before shipping by contacting celotajs@veikalscelotajs.lv.
7.2. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled, and the Buyer must follow the return policy.
8. Returns & Exchanges
8.1. Buyers have 14 days from the delivery date to return or exchange eligible items.
8.2. The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by the Seller.
8.3. Return options:
- In-store returns (Ceļotājs, Urban Outdoor): Free.
- Parcel locker returns: Fees apply based on carrier pricing (Omniva, SpartPost (Itella)).
- Courier returns: Fees apply based on carrier pricing.
8.4. Refunds are issued within 14 days after the returned item is received and inspected.
8.5. Refunds exclude original shipping costs unless the return is due to the Seller’s error.
9. Return Conditions & Non-Returnable Items
9.1. Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and with all labels intact.
9.2. Buyers are responsible for ensuring adequate packaging to prevent damage during return shipping.
9.3. Non-returnable items:
- Custom-made or personalized products.
- Perishable goods and food items.
- Hygiene products (toothbrushes, razors, personal care items).
- Opened software, audio/video recordings.
- Gift cards, discount vouchers.
- Printed materials (books, notebooks, stationery).
- Auctioned items or products sold under clearance sales.
10. Faulty or Incorrect Items
10.1. If the Buyer receives a defective or incorrect item, they must notify the Seller within 5 days.
10.2. The Buyer may request a replacement, repair, or full refund for faulty or incorrect items. 10.3. The Seller will cover return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.
