Water filter Platypus DayCap In-Bottle for Widemouth bottles
Water bottle cap with filter
Do you already have a water bottle and need a water filter? The DayCap bottle-integrated filter is suitable for wide-mouth water bottles, such as Nalgene®, Hydro Flask®, and Yeti® Yonder™.
The removable filter uses the same hollow fiber technology as Platypus's award-winning filter systems to filter water safely and quickly. By simply sipping water through the spout, the flow rate of the filter allows you to drink just as you would from a regular bottle.
Effective: Each microfilter is individually tested to ensure it meets all EPA and NSF guidelines for the removal of 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa.*
*This includes Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Salmonella, and Cholera.
The DayCap water filter is made from high-quality materials. Durable cap with a loop for easy hanging and carrying. The spout is designed to optimize flow and provide a natural drinking experience.
The filter is removable, and the cap can be used on its own.
The QuickDraw microfilter system builds on decades of experience in filtration and hydration to provide adventurers with the best user experience using widely available water bottles.
Easy to use cap consists of two parts: a removable hollow fiber filter cartridge and the DayCap lid. The DayCap lid can also be used without the filter cartridge.
Ultra-fast flow rates: The hollow fiber cartridge filter filters up to 1L per minute.
Simple, effective cleaning: If the flow begins to slow down, simply shake the bottle with the DayCap lid and filter attached to clean it and restore the flow rate.
Regular cleaning ensures that the filtration flow remains consistently fast.
*Before long-term storage, disinfect the filter with chlorinated water - push 1 liter of chlorinated water through the filter and cap it.
