If your measurements are between two sizes, choose a larger size for a looser fit or a smaller size for a tighter fit.
We offer several Fjällräven trouser models with different inseam lengths. Please see the specific product page for available sizes and inseam lengths.
For all other pants that do not specify inseam length, we follow the men's long size standard.
Durable windbreaker for women
A classic anorak windbreaker with G-1000 fabric is a great choice for winter activities and everyday use. When heading out on a hike in the stylish Vardag Anorak, you can feel comfortable and safe regardless of the weather. The durable G-1000 material protects against wind and repels water.
The design of the Fjallraven Anorak is simple and practical - the front of the jacket features a large kangaroo-style pocket, nicely complemented by the Fjallraven logo, as well as two side pockets. The zipper opening on the right side ensures air ventilation, which makes it easier to put the jacket on and take it off.
The jacket is made from durable G-1000 fabric, which is a blend of organic cotton and recycled synthetic fibers, allowing the fabric to promote a soft and breathable comfort against the skin.
Fjallraven manufacturers have taken care of the Vardag Anorak’s exterior treatment using Greenland Wax to prevent moisture and water absorption. The wax can be purchased separately to extend the product's water-repellent properties.
G-1000
Created in 1968, having developed a series of different versions, they all are durable, breathable, windproof and offer protection against UV radiation.
There are five types of G-1000 materials:
- G-1000 Air Stretch
- G-1000 Air
- G-1000 Silent
- G-1000 Heavy-duty
- G-1000 Lite
Densely woven fabric, which is made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, and, using Greenland wax, it is adaptable to the widest range of conditions. Therefore, with proper care it will last for many years and will be a great companion for your adventures.
By treating the G-1000 fabric with Greenland Wax, made from beeswax and paraffin, you make it even more resistant to both water and wind. Keep in mind that Greenland Wax provides water repellency, not waterproofness.
Although most Fjallraven G-1000 is pre-treated, it is recommended to re-wax the garment after a few washes, and wax should only be used on G-1000 products.
