Applies to: Skywalker Pro Via Ferrata and Skywalker Pro Turn Via Ferrata kits sold since 2023.
Why is there a recall?
The possible malfunction is due to an assembly error. As a result, in some cases, the carabiners on the Mammut Skywalker Pro Via Ferrata via ferrata set and Skywalker Pro Turn Via Ferrata via ferrata set may open without engaging the plastic locking mechanism, which means they do not comply with the EN standard. We ask all customers to discontinue use of the affected products and to follow the recall process. Mammut is committed to resolving this matter quickly and proactively.
Mammut, as a brand that has stood for quality and safety since 1862, has made the decision to recall all potentially affected products and issue a full refund to all customers.
❗ What to do if you have one of these ferrata kits?
If you own a Skywalker Pro Via Ferrata or Skywalker Pro Turn Via Ferrata , please stop using it immediately and follow the official return process . This applies to all buyers, regardless of place of purchase.

Pack the product and send it to Mammut using the information you received.

If the kit was purchased with a helmet or climbing system, only the via ferrata kit without the helmet and system must be returned.

The refund will be made within 4 weeks of receiving the item.

The recall applies to all customers – including those who purchased the product elsewhere or outside Latvia.
