The Trail Runner Free is a convenient and lightweight flashlight for anyone who likes to run. The lamp functions and the light beam are optimized for the needs of runners. The basic version of the Trail Runner Free series comes with 3 x AAA batteries and a hybrid battery case.
Lamp without annoying wires
Silva Trail Runner Free series headlamps feature a technology where the power cord is integrated into the headband, which ensures convenient use of the headlamp without the hassle of wires.
Battery included for long runs
In addition to a hybrid battery case that provides multiple battery options, the Trail Runner Free Ultra features a rechargeable, long-life 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery that is neatly housed in a soft case with multiple fasteners. The 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery is perfect for longer burn times during longer running sessions. The battery has a 4-level battery indicator and can be charged anywhere using the included USB C cable .
It is also possible to insert 3xAAA type batteries in the hybrid case, providing freedom of choice and a safety margin for ultramarathoners.
Hybrid battery case included
The hybrid battery case can hold either AAA batteries (included) or the rechargeable Silva Hybrid battery pack. This means you have the option to upgrade your headlamp if you want to supplement it with a rechargeable battery. The battery case has a non-slip surface and contains built-in red rear safety light , which provides additional visibility and safety.
Adjusted light distribution
Free series lights are designed for running in all conditions. Silva Intelligent Light provides dual light beam technology with light settings perfect for running. Silva headlamps' unique combination of high and low beams reduces the need to move the head, better control, improved balance, less fatigue and faster speed.
The Trail Runner Free 2nd generation light has an optimized extinguishing system that allows it to produce up to 550 lumens (depending on battery type) while maintaining comfort and light weight.
Comfort in every detail
The importance of weight optimization has also been considered in the lights of the Silva Trail series. Every part of this headlight is extremely compact and the light unit weighs only 55 grams (excluding batteries). The headband is soft yet firm enough and has a silicone band on the inside to keep it from slipping. The battery can be conveniently worn on your head or kept warm in your pocket to save battery life with the included textile extension cord.
Go far or go fast
Choose the Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra if you want to do really long sessions with the 4.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery. With the Free 2 Ultra, you also get a hybrid battery case that can be used with either 3 x AAA batteries or by supplementing it with a hybrid battery (1.25 Ah/4.6 Wh).
