The Trail Speed ​​5X is equipped with a slim and lightweight 3.5 Ah (25.9 Wh) rechargeable battery that is powerful yet slim. This battery provides long-lasting training or activities with a burn time of 20 hours on low, 8 hours on medium and 5 hours on high. The battery can be easily attached to the battery holder of your headlamp or stored in a backpack or pocket with an extension cord. A battery indicator helps you keep track of the charge level before and during your activity. There is also a built-in low battery warning and a backup mode that automatically adjusts the light to a setting that ensures a safe return home with 30 minutes of guaranteed light.

The ingenious Silva Flow Light feature further enhances light optimization by allowing seamless adjustment of the light pattern by simply tilting the headlamp. The downward tilt creates a wider beam, which is ideal for slower-paced activities like running or downhill skiing. Tilting the headlamp up spreads the light further, which is useful for high-speed activities like downhill skiing.

The ultra- low mode function (80 lumens) allows for extensive training sessions or races, reducing battery consumption when maximum light is not needed.
