The name Makke comes from Makkene, a 1,266-meter-high peak in the Offerdal valley in Jämtland, Sweden. The mountain is located in the Sàmi village of Jovnevaerie, near the Norwegian border.
Lundhags history
Lundhags was founded in 1932 by shoemaker Jonas Lundhags. He started making boots and selling them in Jämtland, Sweden.
