History of Kanken
Straight backs are happy backs! The Kånken backpack was created in 1978 to help prevent back problems for Swedish school children and quickly became the most popular backpack in preschools and nature schools across the country. Today, 45 years later, Kånken has straightened millions of backs around the world and has become one of Fjällräven's most popular products. This classic and practical backpack is perfect for school and work, as well as hiking and travel.
For organizing belongings
The main compartment opens wide with a zipper that allows conveniently to access backpacks for content . The backpack has two flat side pockets and a front zip pocket.
Materials
Kanken backpack material is durable but lightweight Vinylon F fabric, which repels dirt and moisture and dries quickly.
The carrying system is simple but practical and consists of top handles and slim, adjustable shoulder straps, so you can carry it as a backpack or a handbag by the handles.
Additional accessories
Soft foam included sitting pad is stored in the inside back pocket where it prevents the contents of the backpack from poking your back. There is a pad removable for use when you need to rest and sit down.
