How to care for Goretex shoes
Goretex shoes require only a little attention.
To ensure that the functional properties of Goretex shoes (water resistance and breathability), as well as the lifespan of the shoe itself, are maintained for as long as possible, they require a little care.
- Clean GoreTex shoes with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not use bleach, harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials.
- Reapply water repellent : Over time, the water repellent coating wears off. To restore water repellent properties, use a spray-on product specifically designed for Gore-Tex footwear, such as Toko Shoe Proof&Care .
- Do not machine wash . Wash with a mild detergent and let the shoes dry in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources and direct sunlight .
- Store in a dry, cool place.
